We are recruiting a Gardening Facilitator to help expand and run our poly tunnel and growing areas in Cheltenham for 6 hours per week. Experience in managing large gardens or allotments would be great, but candidates who are enthusiastic about getting involved will also be considered. Contracted staff only. Business mileage (45p a mile) is paid for any daily miles over and above the distance from your home to the allocated workplace location and back. You will need a well-maintained vehicle with valid tax, MOT and Insurance covering business use.
Responsibilities:- Plan the growing seasons and manage gardening activities for the poly tunnel and growing areas.
- Recruit volunteers to assist with the project and manage their roles and duties.
- Support the delivery of produce to the Community Pantry for members to enjoy.
- Interest in gardening and willingness to get involved in a community project.
- Access to a well-maintained vehicle with valid tax, MOT and insurance covering business use for mileage as applicable.
- 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, with an additional day added per year and option to purchase more.
