The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

We are recruiting a Gardening Facilitator to help expand and run our poly tunnel and growing areas in Cheltenham for 6 hours per week. Experience in managing large gardens or allotments would be great, but candidates who are enthusiastic about getting involved will also be considered. The produce supplies our Community Pantry for our members to enjoy. If you want to join a close knit team of volunteers, and help to support our Pantry, then click "apply" now!

Contracted staff only. Business mileage (45p a mile) is paid for any daily miles over and above the distance from your home to the allocated workplace location and back. You will need a well-maintained vehicle with valid tax, MOT and Insurance covering business use.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan the growing seasons and manage gardening activities for the poly tunnel and growing areas.
  • Recruit volunteers to assist with the project and manage their roles and duties.
  • Support the delivery of produce to the Community Pantry for members to enjoy.
Requirements:
  • Interest in gardening and willingness to get involved in a community project.
  • Access to a well-maintained vehicle with valid tax, MOT and insurance covering business use for mileage as applicable.
