Role of a Care Assistant

Care Assistants travel to clients’ homes within the community to provide essential care and support. This role is highly rewarding, allowing you to make a positive impact on individuals’ lives and the wider community.

Responsibilities

  • Support clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and nutrition.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
  • Assist clients with their medication needs.
  • Assist in the safe moving and handling of clients.
  • Provide shopping services when required by the client.
