ROLE: Managing a designated patch of properties within apartment blocks. Working with residents who have varying housing needs, to sustain their tenancy. Contributing to Caridon making a difference in housing, by creating a positive environment for customers to enjoy their homes.

REPORTS TO: Regional Manager

WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Managing void properties, ensuring they are re-let within set time frames.
  • Assessing new Housing applicants.
  • Conducting viewings and sign ups.
  • Completing new tenancy visits.
  • Effectively managing tenancy breaches including anti-social behaviour.
  • Maintaining good relationships with our partner organisations and agents.
  • Completing referrals to external agencies.
  • Property inspections.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & ATTITUDE

  • Confident with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise a varied workload.
  • Ability to deal with challenging situations.
  • Good knowledge of tenancies.
  • Experience in residential lettings.
  • A can-do attitude to problem solving.
  • Previous experience working in social housing.
  • Chartered Institute of Housing qualification.
  • Good knowledge of Safeguarding.

GENERAL

  • To contribute to the strategic direction of Caridon.
  • To carry out specific tasks required by your Regional Manager/ Director of Housing.
  • To facilitate good relationships across all departments and sister companies.
  • To demonstrate and actively encourage a good team spirit, positive environment and motivated department at all times
  • To be approachable and empathetic to all internally and externally.
  • To be responsible with your time keeping at all times
