Job Description

The Caribbean Tourism Organisation Chapter UK & Europe is seeking a self-employed and experienced Manager to support its strategic objectives and day-to-day operations.

Reporting to the Business Development Director, the successful candidate will have strong marketing expertise, commercial acumen, and experience in sales, partnership development and event management.

The role also includes responsibility for the Chapter's administration and financial management, ensuring efficient operations and financial controls.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading public and private sector organisations across the United Kingdom, Europe and the Caribbean.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering strategic initiatives that promote the Caribbean as a world-class tourism destination, working with a diverse range of stakeholders, from Ministers and Chief Executives to destination marketers and travel industry professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting, developing and engaging the Chapter's membership.
  • Planning, promoting and delivering events and networking activities.
  • Creating and designing marketing, promotional and membership materials.
  • Managing the Chapter's digital B2B and B2C channels.
  • Supporting sales, partnership development and sponsorship initiatives.
  • Overseeing the Chapter's day-to-day administration, accounting and financial processes, including budgeting, invoicing and financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Registered Self-employed status required.
  • Full-time position with hybrid working arrangements (One day/week in London).
  • Five years’ experience at Manager level, within tourism, marketing, events.
  • Available to start immediately, ideally based in London or the Home Counties.
  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in tourism, marketing, business or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to attend occasional evening and weekend events.
  • Results-driven, creative, highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
