Role Description
The Head of Fundraising & Events is a full-time role responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support CAHN’s mission.
This hybrid role is based in Greater London, with a mix of on-site work and some work from home.
Day-to-day tasks include identifying and cultivating relationships with major donors, philanthropists, charitable trusts, and corporate partners, as well as managing donor stewardship and reporting.
The role oversees the planning, promotion, and delivery of fundraising events, ensuring they align with CAHN’s values and generate sustainable income.
The postholder will lead on fundraising campaigns, prepare compelling funding proposals and impact reports, coordinate with communications and program teams, and manage a small team or volunteers to achieve income targets.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong fundraising and philanthropy skills, including experience designing and implementing fundraising strategies.
- Candidates should possess experience working with major donors and charities, including relationship management and donor stewardship.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to write persuasive proposals and deliver clear presentations to diverse audiences.
