The Library Branch Officer will assist in the day-to-day operations of Muswellbrook and/or Denman Branches, providing and promoting quality customer-focused programming and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and close the library, maintain equipment and supplies
- Issue, return, shelve, and check library items
- Respond to customer enquiries in-person and online, including complaints and inter-library loan requests
- Support library programs, displays, and promotional activities
- Manage branch administration including mail, statistics, dispatch preparation, notice boards, newspapers, and signage
- Accurately process and receipt payments (cash, EFTPOS, credit card), reconcile revenue, and handle general banking tasks
- Assist with collection maintenance and end processing of library materials
About you:
- Current Working with Children Check
- Certificate III in Library Studies or equivalent experience
- Current NSW Class C Drivers License
- Demonstrated experience and/or capability to deliver the Job Specific Key Accountabilities
- Demonstrated Fundamental key capabilities as defined in the Key Capabilities Table
