About the Role
The Maintenance Officer is a newly created position which sits in our newly established Property & Procurement department. This position is responsible for assisting with and undertaking maintenance of VRSLC buildings, plant, equipment, ground maintenance and refurbishment activities to our residential aged care rooms, affordable housing units and V Centre apartments.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be customer service focussed, thrive in a dynamic environment juggling multiple tasks and be committed to quality outcomes. You will also have:
- Minimum 3 years experience providing general facility maintenance in a safe working manner.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise onsite work tasks.
- Experience in preparing JSA's and SWM's.
- Good working knowledge of OH&S legislation, regulations and practice.
- Valuable computer skills including use of a database for work order management.
- Current driver's license and ability to drive.
- Satisfactory completion of a National Police Records Check (arranged by Vasey RSL Care).
- Valid working rights which will be subject to a VEVO check.
