Your mission is to drive the profitable growth of our Demountables business in the country. This critical, high-impact role involves securing commercial ownership of revenue and margin targets, driving success through strategic leadership, and actively nurturing key customer relationships. You will be instrumental in leading and coaching the local sales team to deliver outstanding performance across order intake, margin, and market share targets. This person will be reporting to the VP Sales Europe, Demountables. The primary location is Ellesmere, UK, but we are accepting applications from the Northern/Central region.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own the country-level Demountables revenue and margin targets, including aligning targets and managing performance with BA / BU sales heads.
  • Lead and coach the dedicated Demountables sales workforce to improve conversion, enforce pricing discipline, and enhance account penetration.
  • Translate the Demountables strategy into concrete country sales actions and ensure rigorous execution of all initiatives.
  • Manage direct customers to effectively drive sales and market share growth.
  • Maintain a competitive overview and proactively adjust the local commercial approach to ensure solutions meet local market requirements and application needs.
  • Engage directly with end users and customers to gather product insights and provide essential local feedback to Product Management.
  • Ensure accurate pipeline management and forecast discipline in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders (e.g., bodybuilders) and align closely with other BLMs to assure cross-BA effectiveness and optimal customer support.
  • Work closely with the Service team, especially where installations, bodyworks, contracts, and tenders are involved.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, commercial policies, and contractual frameworks.

What we are looking for:

  • Relevant educational background (Bachelor’s Degree/academic level) in technical and commercial subjects.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of senior business management experience with a demonstrable, advanced understanding of the load handling / logistics business.
  • Proven leadership capabilities of high-performing teams and a commitment to creating a culture of empowerment.
  • Strong business mind-set with vast financial skills and full P&L accountability.
  • Proven ability to drive business growth, specifically increasing sales, order intake, and profitability.
  • Keen focus on customer base needs, competitors, and a results-driven history of showing customers value in delivered solutions.
  • History of technical skills and relevant product knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence both direct team members and indirect stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international business environment/matrix organization.
  • Fluent verbal and written communication in English.
