Your role will be crucial in selling our Wholesale Freight Forwarding services to the freight forwarding community, encompassing Airfreight Export, Import, and Courier Services. You’ll ensure that Cargonet is the wholesaler of choice for both new and existing customers.
Build and maintain professional relationships with your portfolio of customers through regular meetings. Proactively research and pursue new business opportunities to contribute to Cargonet’s growth. Manage and retain existing accounts, while developing and nurturing new ones. Identify and connect with potential opportunity accounts. Meet targets as outlined in your KPIs. Independently manage your time to meet business and KPI requirements. Plan, prepare for, and follow up on sales meetings efficiently. Collaborate effectively as a team player. Negotiate contract and ad-hoc pricing when needed. Provide weekly sales updates and manage the internal CRM system. Offer internal sales support as required. Assist the Finance team with customer communication when necessary. Represent the company at events, conferences, and marketing exhibitions. Contribute ideas and content to Cargonet’s marketing strategy, including social media and email campaigns.
