In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating flatbed trucks to deliver goods efficiently across various locations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV Class 2 trucks for local and national deliveries
- Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring proper securing of goods for transit
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and promptly
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle throughout your shift
