Job Purpose and Impact

The Maintenance & Reliability Manager will supervise and execute the deployment of overall leading maintenance practices aligned to production needs. In this role, you will lead a team of 8 direct reports and external contractors that executes routine complex activities to maintain and improve capacity utilization and quality standards realized through reliable operations across the region. You will oversee preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, supporting site utilities, and driving continuous improvement through root cause analysis.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the execution of specific equipment maintenance strategy for each asset involved with containing, controlling or safeguarding a high hazard process.
  • Implement and monitor methodologies to improve operational effectiveness in compliance with regulatory codes and standards.
  • Drive the integration of contractor partners and equipment providing support to the plant force.
  • Partner with regional and global leadership to develop area leading practices.
  • Oversee the development of the operational related budget to track the area progress against the estimate.
  • Lead and develop a team of 8 direct reports, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
  • Promote a culture of engagement, accountability, and proactive problem solving across the maintenance organisation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Related work experience as Maintenance & Reliability Manager in manufacturing (Food industry, FMCG).
  • Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance.
  • Proven understanding of safety systems, permits to work, and contractor control.
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience overseeing third party resources to deliver business results.
  • Knowledge of CMMS/EAM (SAP) systems, control systems and area reliability tools.
  • Proven supervisory experience.
  • Strong people management, communication and stakeholder skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, reactive environment with a strategic mindset.
  • Understanding of equipment reliability, utilities, and root cause analysis.
