Job Purpose and Impact
Our Manufacturing & Supply Chain Management Trainee Program is a structurally managed, rotational development experience designed to build the next generation of leaders in our Manufacturing & Supply Chain organization. Over the course of 24 months, trainees gain hands‑on exposure across the end‑to‑end value chain—from production and quality to logistics, planning, and continuous improvement. This program is ideal for early‑career talent with strong analytical capability, a passion for operational and supply chain excellence, and the drive to grow into leadership roles within our Manufacturing & Supply Chain organizations.
Job Locations & Timing
Trainee's will be based at our site in Manchester. The rotational program will begin in Summer 2026, based on graduation date.
Program Rotations Include
- Manufacturing Operations – Daily production management, troubleshooting, performance tracking, and line leadership exposure. During the production rotation, trainees will have the opportunity to gain experience within our 24/7 operation by working in a shift‑based system.
- Supply Planning & Scheduling – Demand planning, inventory management, S&OP support, and analytics.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance – Food safety, quality systems, audit readiness, and continuous improvement projects.
- Logistics & Distribution – Warehouse operations, distribution planning, and transportation optimization.
Trainees work closely with experts, mentors, and business leaders, and lead real projects with measurable impact. The expectation is the trainees will take a tangible and real job to gain solid MSC experiences, including showing the deliveries of results.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day‑to‑day operations in each rotation to drive productivity, quality, service, and safety.
- Use data and analytics to identify performance opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement process improvements.
- Lead at least one end‑to‑end project in each rotation and present results to leadership.
- Demonstrate learning agility, curiosity, and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Food Science, or a related field.
- Relevant work experience (internships included).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to relocate or travel during rotations (if applicable).
- Motivation to build a long‑term career in manufacturing & supply chain leadership.
