Job Purpose and Impact

The Logistics Engineering Process Efficiency Supervisor will improve the stability & capability of the Port & Logistics processes while reducing variability and mitigating risks in this area. In this role, you will enable the area to achieve cost and operating efficiency targets whilst modernizing, and protecting our people, communities, the environment and assets; and honoring our business obligations. This position will also be managing a team of eight direct reports across two locations: Brocklebank and Seaforth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead projects and develop initiatives to reduce costs and continuously improve processes in the warehouse and logistics area.
  • Ensure an aligned continuous improvement process to effectively create, prioritize and handle a portfolio of projects and initiatives to maximize opportunity and value capture.
  • Lead and develop the implementation of smart manufacturing to enable the design, development, deployment and support of common digital tools, configurations and solutions on the operations shop floor.
  • Implement, deploy and optimize methodologies to standardize processes and procedures.
  • Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports managing Brocklebank & Seaforth logistics personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Directly related work experience in continuous or process improvement.
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience delivering small scale projects and ability to manage small scale projects end to end, covering all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in continuous improvement.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to act as a key point of contact while building effective relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate responsibilities across Liverpool locations.
