b Overview /b p In this role, you lead EHS and PSQR in a subregion, guiding risk mitigation and regulatory compliance across production sites. You will align safety programs with operations and business needs, shaping resource allocation and developing leaders. Your work enables safe, compliant operations while driving continuous improvement in environmental health, safety, and quality. The position combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership in a fast-changing regulatory landscape, under a global industrial umbrella. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li contributory pension /li li private healthcare /li li performance related bonus /li li employee assistance programme /li li on-site role (5 days) /li li inclusive recruitment process accommodations /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Define and review environmental health and safety plans with operations and management /li li Oversee EHS supervisors and ensure quality coverage across the subregion /li li Manage emergency response and business continuity for sites /li li Identify risks and develop action plans to improve programs, processes, systems /li li Support EHS learning and development programs /li li Coordinate with regional leads to update regulations and promote continuous improvement of EHSMS /li li Develop plans and deliver results in dynamic regulatory environments; lead talent management and performance decisions /li li Collaborate with managers to ensure staffing aligns with current and future needs /li li Other duties as assigned /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience /li li Solid working knowledge of food safety industry practices and standards /li li Strong scientific and mathematical knowledge /li li Preferred: supervisory experience /li /ul ul li collaboration /li li leadership /li li coaching and development /li li environmental health and safety management systems /li li regulatory compliance (local and federal) /li li risk assessment and mitigation /li /ul
