This position is in Cargill\’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to deliver products and services they need, and to develop innovative products using our technical expertise and market knowledge.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Distribution and Channel Sales Representative will focus on selling products, services, and solutions through intermediaries such as distributors and resellers. In this role, you will nurture relationships with channel partners and distributors, implement sales and marketing activities, and promote the organization’s products and services. The position will be responsible for customers in UK & Ireland. Ideally, the position holder can be based in Europe.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain and expand relationships with organizations, providing products, services, and solutions.
- Develop and deliver product demonstrations, sales bids, and presentations to channel partners and distributors.
- Promote and sell products and services to individuals or other organizations.
- Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends.
- Support business growth by disseminating favorable information about the organization and its products and services.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating more complex issues as needed.
- This role requires frequent travel—approximately 40% of the time.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience; typically 3 or more years.
