About the Role
Cargiant, London\βs largest used car dealership, is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Aftersales Advisor to join our dynamic Customer Service Department. You\βll be the key liaison between customers and our aftersales support, handling post-sale queries, complaints, and repair coordination with professionalism, efficiency, and empathy.
This is a fast-paced role where your communication, negotiation, and organisational skills will shine. If you thrive under pressure and enjoy delivering excellent service, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer complaints and queries by phone, in person, and in writing β always with a customer-first approach and in line with company policies.
- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls daily, maintaining a calm, helpful, and professional manner.
- Ensure customer issues are resolved promptly, meeting deadlines and service quality standards.
- Welcome customers in a courteous and professional way during your controller duties.
- Schedule vehicle bookings, provide accurate repair timeframes, and obtain approvals for additional work when needed.
- Negotiate diagnostic, repair, and parts costs with prior authorisation from management.
- Arrange external repairs using authorised third-party service providers such as Halfords, main dealers, tyre, MOT, and exhaust centres.
- Process refunds for repairs, insurance products, and guarantees as authorised.
- Handle related administration including courtesy car agreements, repair estimates, trade orders, and vehicle repair documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures at all times.
