About The Role
We’re looking for a talented Mid-Weight Website Designer to join our growing digital team in Manchester. You’ll play a key role in designing visually engaging, user-centred websites that deliver excellent digital experiences across multiple platforms. Working in a hybrid setup, you’ll collaborate closely with developers, product, and marketing specialists to bring creative ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver responsive websites, landing pages, and digital interfaces with strong attention to detail and usability.
- Translate brand identities into clean, cohesive digital designs that engage and convert.
- Collaborate with UX/UI specialists, developers, and clients to refine briefs and user journeys.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mock-ups using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Optimise designs for performance, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with current design trends, technologies, and UX best practices.

About You
Skills & Experience
Essential
- 3+ years’ experience in website or digital design, ideally in an agency or fast-paced in-house environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing responsive web design and UI work.
- Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, XD, or similar).
- Understanding of UX principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Experience collaborating with front-end developers and familiarity with HTML/CSS principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desirable
- Understanding of SEO and performance optimisation from a design perspective.
- Experience in design of car dealership websites.
