As a fast-scaling, people-focused business, we are looking for a Culture & Engagement Lead to help strengthen connection, engagement and inclusion across the business. We are seeking a proactive, passionate, highly organised and high-energy individual who thrives in a hands-on role and enjoys working at pace. Sitting within the People function, you will partner closely with leaders and teams across the business to shape initiatives that genuinely support our colleagues, evolve how we listen to our people and bring our Company DNA to life in a practical and authentic way.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (9am - 5pm)
Days: Monday - Friday
The Role
As Culture & Employee Engagement Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping how our people experience life at Car Finance 247. You will take ownership of our engagement and events strategy, bringing together social, charitable, reward and recognition initiatives that connect people to our values and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the annual Social, Charitable, Reward & Recognition and Engagement calendar, ensuring events are well-planned, inclusive and aligned to business objectives.
- Work with key stakeholders to organise, facilitate and deliver meetings for our five employee committees, supporting the implementation and coordination of actions and initiatives arising from these groups.
- Lead the evolution of our internal communications strategy, improving engagement, clarity and two-way dialogue across the organisation.
- Translate insights from surveys, Colleague Voice, and feedback channels into meaningful actions that enhance engagement and culture.
- Partner with Marketing to help shape and deliver content strategy for social platforms, providing high-quality internal stories, photography and event coverage.
- Collaborate closely with Recruitment and HR to position Car Finance 247 as an employer of choice and thought leader for both current and prospective employees.
- Develop and deliver employee engagement programmes that promote inclusion, recognition and connection across teams.
- Capture successes, metrics and insights from across the business and translate them into impactful stories, case studies and reports.
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders, advising on engagement best practice and cultural initiatives.
- Manage budgets, suppliers and timelines related to events and engagement activity, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives.
About You
Working closely with senior leaders, People, Marketing and Recruitment teams, you will lead the evolution of our internal communications and employee listening approach, turning feedback and insights into meaningful, visible actions. You will support and coordinate our employee committees, helping ideas move from discussion to delivery, and ensuring colleagues have a genuine voice in shaping our culture. You will take ownership of our internal events, employee engagement programmes and employer branding strategy, ensuring our culture is consistently brought to life internally and externally.
This is a senior hands-on, high-impact role where you will balance strategic thinking with delivery, building strong relationships across the business, telling real stories from our people, and creating programmes that drive engagement, inclusion and connection as we continue to grow. You will be managing the culture programme and be part of the broader people function; the role is a full 360-degree role, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the strategy so organisational and delivery focus is a critical part of the role.
