Careys Civil Engineering is seeking experienced Plant operatives to join our team on major civils projects within the Sheffield (S9) area. Ready to build the future from the ground up? Key Responsibilities
- Operate plant of varying sizes safely and efficiently
- Undertake excavation, grading, trenching, drainage and foundation works
- Perform daily pre-start checks and routine machine maintenance
- Work closely with site supervisors and groundworkers to ensure smooth site operations
- Strict adherence to Careys’ safety standards and procedures
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator ticket (above and below 10T) / Safety Critical Medical
- Previous experience operating on major civil or infrastructure projects
- CSCS card (preferred)
- Ability to work safely as part of a team
- Good understanding of site health & safety
- Lifting Ops, Confined Spaces, or other civils tickets an advantage
