We have a new opportunity for a highly organized and pro‐active recruiter to join our busy HR team to provide end-to-end recruitment support across the Carey Olsen group. This role can be based in one of our Jersey, London or Southampton offices.
Responsibilities
- Meet with and build quality relationships with internal and external contacts including partners, directors, hiring managers and agencies.
- Work closely with hiring managers to agree vacancy requirements, job descriptions and approvals.
- Deal with queries relating to the recruitment process.
- Create and publish job adverts, fully utilizing a wide range of platforms to advertise roles.
- Source and connect with suitably qualified candidates.
- Manage job listings and monitor incoming applications via our applicant tracking system.
- Screen and shortlist candidates and move them through the various pipelines within our recruitment system.
- Assist with the recruitment process for various student schemes and training programmes we offer.
- Manage employment offers to successful candidates, including negotiating employment terms and finalising offers.
- Represent Carey Olsen at job fairs and careers events.
- Other ad‐hoc duties as required.
Qualifications
- Previous recruitment experience in a legal environment is essential, along with knowledge of applicant tracking systems and sourcing capabilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organisational skills, and attention to detail are required.
- The successful candidate will be highly organized with the ability to prioritise, multitask, and have a problem‐solving and results‐driven approach.
