Careys are recruiting experienced Advanced Scaffolders to join our team on a major civil engineering project in Sheffield (S9). You will support the construction of a major industrial civils project involving deep excavations, reinforced concrete structures, drainage, roads and external works.
Key Responsibilities
- Erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding systems safely in accordance with design drawings and site requirements.
- Read and interpret scaffold drawings, method statements and temporary works designs.
- Carry out inspections and ensure all scaffolding complies with current health, safety and industry standards.
- Work closely with site management and construction teams to provide safe access for ongoing civil engineering works.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety while supporting the delivery of major infrastructure and industrial projects.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- CISRS Advanced Scaffolder Card
- Proven experience on heavy civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Experience erecting, altering and dismantling scaffold systems
- Strong understanding of site safety requirements
