Careys are recruiting experienced Concrete Finishers to join our team on a major civil engineering project in Sheffield (S9). You will support the delivery of reinforced concrete structures across a large industrial civils project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out finishing works on reinforced concrete structures to the required specification and quality standards.
  • Level, screed and finish concrete surfaces using appropriate hand and power tools.
  • Assist with concrete pours, ensuring surfaces are finished accurately and within tolerance.
  • Identify and rectify surface defects while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
  • Work closely with site management and concrete gangs to safely deliver major civil engineering and infrastructure works.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • CSCS Card
  • Proven experience in concrete finishing
  • Experience with screeding, levelling and finishing concrete surfaces
  • Desirable: Power Float experience, Reinforced concrete structures, PQ Concrete Slabs, Industrial projects
