An opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to join a leading provider of residential care homes in Horley, offering person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities. The job will suit an experienced Senior Support Worker who has previously led shifts.
Requirements:
- Experience with learning disabilities desirable

- Able to pass DBS check

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Leading the shift and delegating duties to the team
- Respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident and providing the residents with choices
- Supporting in ensuring high standards of care and support are maintained
- Working as part of a staff team in a constructive and supportive manner
- Ensuring the safety of the residents at all times, reporting promptly any concerns
- Being aware of the emotional needs and aspirations of each resident and providing opportunities for appropriate emotional expression
Salary & Benefits:
- Full time positions of 37.5 hours a week (shift work as part of a rota)
- Pay rate of £8.50 per hour
