Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- You must be a patient and caring individual who is committed to helping others in need.
- Attend to the wishes and comfort, personal appearance and hygiene of all residents at all times.
- Take chart observations of residents including weight, food and liquid intakes/outputs.
- Complete and update care plans and records.
- Assist and actively encourage the social care and the wellbeing of residents.
- Assist with the reception and orientation of new residents in a reassuring manner.
- Prepare food trays and eating areas. Help with meal preparation and be on hand to assist any residents with eating as required.
- Make beds and change linen.
- Escort residents to hospital, dentist, shops or other approved excursions as required.
