Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • You must be a patient and caring individual who is committed to helping others in need.
  • Attend to the wishes and comfort, personal appearance and hygiene of all residents at all times.
  • Take chart observations of residents including weight, food and liquid intakes/outputs.
  • Complete and update care plans and records.
  • Assist and actively encourage the social care and the wellbeing of residents.
  • Assist with the reception and orientation of new residents in a reassuring manner.
  • Prepare food trays and eating areas. Help with meal preparation and be on hand to assist any residents with eating as required.
  • Make beds and change linen.
  • Escort residents to hospital, dentist, shops or other approved excursions as required.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Guaranteed 35 hours p/week minimum (day shift work).
  • Rates from £8.10 per hour.
