An opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to join a leading provider of residential care homes in Caterham, offering person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities.

Requirements:

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Leading the shift and delegating duties to the team
  • 24 hours on call one week in a month
  • To respect the dignity and individuality of each resident and provide the residents with choices
  • To support in ensuring high standards of care and support are maintained
  • To work as part of a staff team in a constructive and supportive manner
  • To ensure the safety of the residents at all times, reporting promptly any concerns
  • To be aware of the emotional needs and aspirations of each resident and provide opportunities for appropriate emotional expression

Salary & Benefits:

  • Full time positions of 37.5 a week (shift work as part of a rota)
  • Pay rate of £8.84 per hour
