What You’ll Do
- Supporting each young person through the challenges of independence
- Being emotionally available to listen to young people’s views and feelings
- Promoting positive relationships in a nurturing environment
- Using digital systems confidently, including Word and Outlook for emails
- Enjoying and engaging in shared time within the home for the team and young people
- Creating an environment that our young people deserve to be a part of
- Providing opportunities for the young people to grow and thrive within the home
Who Are You
- Previous experience is preferred or you may have cared for a friend or family member
- Desire to work towards a related qualification and participate in ongoing training
- Must be a team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to cover day shifts with overnight sleep‑ins at the service
What does our rota look like?
- Each shift is 8 am to 11 pm – sleep‑ins are 11 pm to 8 am
- 3‑week rolling rota: one day on, two days off
- Week 1: 30 hrs (2 days working)
