Job role: To be part of a team offering a comprehensive residential service to children and young people, by ensuring we offer a clean, safe, and environmentally friendly home which meets the needs of our young people. You will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning - ensuring a high standard of cleanliness throughout the centre
  • Liaising with management and staff in relation to daily chores requiring completion
  • Ensuring all facilities are cleaned to a high standard as well as maintaining up to date stock levels and record keeping
  • Reporting any maintenance issues to the manager

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience
  • Good communication with colleagues and young people
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • A flexible approach to work
  • Good organisational skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements surrounding the cooking and preparation of food
  • Food hygiene knowledge
