Role Overview
We are seeking a Team Leader to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs across our Oldham services.
Responsibilities
- Lead a Support Worker Team
- Deliver person‑centred support in line with individual plans
- Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required
- Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing
- Support activities, appointments and community access
- Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team
- Work a rota, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep‑ins
Requirements
- Experience leading a team and supporting adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs
- Knowledge of mental health & learning disabilities environment
- Health & Social Care Level 3 Adults (preferred)
- Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
- Drivers licence – essential
- Enhanced DBS (paid for by CareTech)
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Ability to keep calm under pressure
- Confidence to work alone and collaboratively with a team
