Salary 25,521.60 (This will need to be Pro-rata)
Full time: 37.5 hours working term time across 38 weeks of the year

Cambian Wing College is a specialist further education college offering both day and 38-52 week residential placements rated \’Good\’ overall by Ofsted, with \’Outstanding\’ recognition for Personal Development. We provide holistic education for young people aged 16-25 years, with high-functioning autism and complex needs. Many of our students can display challenging behaviour and may also suffer with mental health conditions that impact their ability to achieve their potential.
We provide robust therapeutic support alongside our students\’ academic/ vocational programmes to enable them to gain the life skills, qualifications and employability qualities to ensure the greatest opportunity of successful outcomes (regardless of their starting point) and the chance to truly thrive.
Job Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and interested individual to work as part of the Speech and Language Therapy team and be based at Cambian Wing College. This post will combine clinical and administrative support roles: you will be working directly with individual students or groups to deliver therapy programmes, under the direction of a Speech and Language Therapist (SLT), supporting SLTs in assessment of resident\’s communication skills, reporting on students progress, providing support with resources for individuals and contributing to the development of the Inclusive Communication Environment. You will receive regular supervision and, as part of the Cambian SLT service, be eligible for training.
Candidate Profile
It is essential that the successful candidate has an interest in communication and has worked with young people with autism, severe learning disabilities and challenging behaviour and experience of complex needs would be an advantage. Basic IT skills and the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a team for all aspects of this post are essential.
