Responsibilities

Deliver therapy programmes to individual young people or groups in educational and residential settings under direction of senior OT or SaLT.

Support OT or SaLT in assessment of young people\’s communication needs, functional skills and report progress.

Provide support with resources for individuals and contribute to development of the communication and sensory environment.

Candidate Profile

Interest in developing young people\’s communication and functional skills and meeting communication and sensory needs.

Experience working with young people with special needs, preferably with ASD and/or LD.

Basic IT skills and ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a busy team.

Experience working with ASD and/or LD and/or CAMHS acceptable.
