We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker for a full-time, on-site position located in Shinfield, Reading. In this role, you will assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and accessing community resources. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development of independence
- Helping to achieve personal goals
- Providing emotional and practical support tailored to individual needs
- Working closely with a team to ensure a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for those in your care
Qualifications:
- Experience in caregiving, personal support, or working with individuals with complex needs
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build supportive relationships and communicate effectively
- Understanding of health and safety practices, safeguarding, and person-centered care
- Ability to promote independence, empathy, and dignity in all interactions
