We are recruiting a Senior Support Worker to join our service in St Marys Bay. Bright Care is a warm residential care home supporting 5 service users. They enjoy venturing out into the community, accessing the New Romney Hythe and Dymchurch railways to visit the local areas, and supporting service users to attend day care throughout the week.

Bright Care Residential Service is located at St Mary’s Bay, the service is a detached chalet bungalow situated within a quiet residential area.

  • Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
  • Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required
  • Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
  • Support activities, appointments, and community access
  • Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team
  • Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins

You will bring a positive, resilient approach and be confident supporting both individuals and colleagues.

  • Diploma in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards one
  • Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disability and/or mental health issues
  • Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
  • Drivers desirable but not essential
  • Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech)
