The Role:
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home while ensuring the highest standards of care for residents.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire a dedicated team of care staff.
- Help create a warm, person-centred environment for residents and their families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Registered Manager in operational management of the home.
- Being 50% supernumerary to focus on leadership and oversight.
- Leading, coaching, and motivating a team of care staff.
- Ensuring care is delivered to the highest standards.
- Building strong relationships with families and professionals.
- Supporting compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and CQC standards.
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a care setting is required, along with:
- NVQ Level 3 (or higher) in Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A compassionate, professional, and motivated approach to care.
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards.
