Location: Charing, Ashford

The Role:

  • Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home while ensuring the highest standards of care for residents.
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire a dedicated team of care staff.
  • Help create a warm, person-centred environment for residents and their families.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Registered Manager in operational management of the home.
  • Being 50% supernumerary to focus on leadership and oversight.
  • Leading, coaching, and motivating a team of care staff.
  • Ensuring care is delivered to the highest standards.
  • Building strong relationships with families and professionals.
  • Supporting compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and CQC standards.

Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a care setting is required, along with:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or higher) in Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A compassionate, professional, and motivated approach to care.
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards.
