We are recruiting Support Workers to join our service in Golborne, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.
Service Overview
Ullswater Court is a registered Supported Living Service made up of self-contained flats, supporting adults aged 18+ in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. The service promotes independence, choice, and wellbeing through tailored, person-centred support.
Service User Interests & Activities
- Arts and crafts
- Days out such as Theme Parks, Meals out, Social activities, Christmas markets
- Holidays and short breaks
- Walks in the local park and community
- Cooking and baking to develop life skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
- Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required
- Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
- Support activities, appointments, and community access
- Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team
- Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins
Qualifications & Requirements
- Caring, patient, respectful, and positive with a resilient approach
- Confident working independently and within a team
- Good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, flexible and reliable
- Care sector experience essential
- Willingness to work towards Level 2 QCF (Social Care Wales registration)
- Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
- Drivers desirable but not essential
- Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech)
