Park Lane is a five bedded residential care home, located on the outskirts of Fareham, a market town at the northwest tip of Portsmouth Harbour, between the cities of Portsmouth and Southampton in south east Hampshire. The town can be accessed by rail or road links via the M27 and A27.
Park Lane supports men and women with complex or enduring mental health disorders who have demonstrated the ability to gain further independence and functionality in a community setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Participating in the day to day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment.
- Supporting service users with the preparation of meals, laundry duties, cleaning and social events.
- Working as part of a team to provide high quality care.
You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.
No previous experience? If you have the passion, we’ll provide full training and a structured induction programme.
Requirements:
- Willingness to work towards Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
- Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
- Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech).
