We are seeking caring, compassionate individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people. As a Team Leader, you will lead by example and support our Residential Support Workers in delivering high‑quality care.
Responsibilities
- Meet the needs of children and young people in line with Ofsted regulations
- Support rota planning and assist the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager with meetings and appointments
- Assist with the implementation of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose
- Carry out all other reasonable duties as directed by the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager
- Provide supervision in the absence of the Registered Manager or Deputy Manager
- Promote and welcome a diverse and inclusive culture within the home
- Create a safe, nurturing, family‑style environment for the children
- Be comfortable using an electronic care recording system (Clearcare is an advantage but not essential)
- Be aged 21 or over in line with Ofsted regulations
- Possess a driving licence (preferred but not essential depending on location)
- Demonstrate flexibility, reliability and adaptability, and read situations effectively to support young people in making positive choices
- Remain calm under pressure, be a good listener, and offer guidance with unconditional positive regard
