Job role
To be part of a team offering a comprehensive residential service to children and young people, by ensuring we offer a clean, safe and environmentally friendly home which meets the needs of our young people.
You will be responsible for:
- Cleaning – ensuring a high standard of cleanliness throughout the centre.
- Liaise with management and staff in relation to daily chores requiring completion.
- Ensure all facilities are cleaned to a high standard as well as maintaining up to date stock levels and record keeping.
- Report any maintenance issues to the manager.
Previous experience / Qualifications
- Good communication with colleagues and young people.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Have a flexible approach to work.
- Good organisational skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements surrounding the cooking and preparation of food.
- Food hygiene knowledge.
