We are recruiting for Bank Support Workers to join our service in Cornwall, Devon, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, preverbal and wheelchair users. About the Service – Cornwall Supported Living

Cornwall Supported Living covers Hayle, Redruth and Cambourne. We support adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, epilepsy and adults on the spectrum to live as independently as possible in their own homes, providing structured, consistent support tailored to each individual. Person-centred care is very important to us at Cornwall Supported Living. As a team, we focus on the abilities of the people we support and promote learning of new skills, thereby promoting independence and an improved quality of life. The people we support are involved in the day-to-day running of their home.

The people we support enjoy a wide range of activities, and Bank Support Workers play a vital role in enabling these experiences, including:

  • Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
  • Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required
  • Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
  • Support activities, appointments, and community access
  • Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team
  • Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins

You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable. No previous experience? If you have the passion, we’ll provide full training and a structured induction programme.
