Supporting the teaching and senior staff, you'll be an integral part of a dedicated team supporting the achievement and progress of learners. Existing TA/LSA experience would be advantageous but experience and personality are key factors in appointing the right candidate.
We are looking for Learning Support Workers that are:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of the college curriculum up to and including Level 3 qualifications.
- Establishing productive working relationships with learners, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
- Supporting learners consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs.
- Attending to the learner's personal needs and provide advice to assist their social, health and hygiene development during the college day.
- Working with the Tutor/Teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate.
- Establishing constructive relationships and communicating with other agencies/professionals, to support the achievement and progress of learners.
Cambian Wing College is a specialist further education college offering both day and 38-52 week residential placements. We provide holistic education for students aged 16-25 years who have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder and associated mental health conditions. At Wing College we use specialist education approaches, therapeutic support and environments and staffing expertise to prepare students to meet the demands of adult life in a positive way. All candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and reference checks. Cambian will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children.
