Responsible To: Head of Continuous Improvement

Location/Base: Home-based with extensive travel across the country as required

Contract: Full time (40 hours/52 weeks)

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 (depending upon PM qualifications and previous experience) & £4,800 car allowance

Main Purpose of the Job

To lead the successful delivery and embedding of CareTech’s Electronic Care Recording (Clearcare) system across Children’s Services, with a strong focus on driving sustainable business change, improving operational performance, and embedding new ways of working. Working with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, the role will ensure that the Clearcare project delivers its intended benefits by supporting behavioural change, improving quality of the care record, and enhancing frontline practice, rather than focusing solely on system implementation. This is a significant change project which is part of a larger Transformation Programme aimed at enabling more effective, consistent, and compliant ways of managing care records across residential and education settings.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience of using Clearcare ECR system
  • Extensive experience leading end-to-end, organisation-wide transformation programmes with demonstrable, measurable outcomes
  • Experience delivering business change and transformation programmes, ideally within complex environments
  • Strong project management experience (PRINCE2, Agile or similar methodologies)
  • Proven ability to drive adoption, engagement, and behavioural change
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working with senior leaders and influencing decision-making
  • Ability to translate strategy into practical, operational solutions
  • Strong analytical and reporting capability
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office

Desirable Requirements:

  • Project or change management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, APM)
  • Experience of large-scale, multi-site transformation programmes
  • Experience within children’s social care, healthcare, or related sectors
  • Familiarity with digital or systems-enabled change programmes
  • Knowledge of monday.com or similar tools
