For over 25 years, Branas Isaf has been delivering an outstanding integrated model of education, therapy and therapeutic care to young people who present a range of emotional, behavioural & complex interpersonal behavioural needs. Your role as Registered Manager is to encourage our young children towards a better understanding of their previous behaviour, enabling them to improve their interpersonal functioning, first within the therapeutic home environment and ultimately in the wider community.

Management Development Training Programme and continuous development from our in-house Leadership Academy will motivate, empower, inspire and stretch leaders to develop their knowledge and skills in leadership and management.
This is a 4 bed Children’s Home where you will:
- Develop Comprehensive Care Plans: Ensure each young person has a tailored plan that addresses their care, education, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic, and health needs.
- Complete company induction and personal development plans, retaining a strong team to ensure familiar faces for the young people.
- Foster Consultation: Develop systems to consult young people about the care they receive.
- Assign a Key Worker to each young person to implement their care plan.
- Establish and monitor high-quality care standards in line with the quality standards and the Home’s Statement of Purpose.
- Handle Complaints and Concerns: Take responsibility for addressing any complaints or child protection concerns.
- Work in partnership with parents, carers, and other professionals to promote the welfare of young people.
- Participate in Meetings: Attend and contribute to care planning and review meetings as appropriate.
- Ensure the children in your service are cared for at the best possible standard.
- Effective Commercial Management of your home: Passionate about making the difference to the lives of young people in care.
Minimum 2 years in a position related to residential care of children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years. Level 3 in Children's Residential Care is essential. Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is preferred at point of application, if not then you must be enrolled on the Level 5 within 6 months of starting in post. Understanding of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements is necessary.
Knowledge of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties, including managing challenging behaviour is required. A Full UK Driving License is also required.
