HR Advisor Sector: Care Salary: £30,000.00 per annum Location: Wolverhampton The following is an indication of the type and level of the main priorities expected of this role as directed by your line manager and is not intended to be a comprehensive list of duties or tasks: Responsibilities: To provide, on a daily basis, expert and professional advice to registered managers on a wide range of HR issues, including, but not limited to: Attendance Management and Occupational Health Disciplinary Grievance Restructure, Redundancy and Change Management Flexible Working Performance Management To carry out all administration in relation to the cases you are advising on. For example invites to meetings, dismissal letters, Undertake project work and policy development work as directed and guided by the HR Business Partner Keep abreast of developments in employment legislation and case law, and be proactive in ensuring that managers are appropriately briefed on relevant changes and new legislation. Act as an advisor and counter-signatory for Disclosure Barring Services, ensuring that relevant codes of practice and policies are adhered to and that procedures relating to child protection issues are followed Maintain and provide statistical and management information as required on turnover, absence, and conduct. Manage the suspensions casework with a view to resolving them quickly. Undertake inductions and provide advice to employees and managers on conditions of service issues (for example, maternity leave). Ensure that all HR records are entered onto the database and ensure they are held securely and are legally compliant.Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the role of HR Officer will have: In possession of a CIPD qualification or part qualified Experience in a Human Resource Environment Good knowledge of employment law Good knowledge of right to work and compliance Experience of Disciplinaries/Grievance Process Computer literate Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good organisational skills Self-Motivated Able to travel throughout the companySkills & Aptitudes A practical knowledge of Human Resources processes and administrative procedures such as disciplinary/grievance processes, Right to work and compliance, sickness and absence triggers Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with managers and staff across all levels of the organisation Ability to deal with complex and sensitive casesThe Organisation: CareTech Community Services Ltd is a provider of specialist social care services, supporting 5000 adults with a wide range of needs in more than 300 services across the UK.
