Based in Harrietsham, Kent, this role involves working 44 hours per week on a rota-based system (4 nights per week, shift starts at 9pm and finishes at 8am) at a rate of £12.71 per hour.

The Role:
We provide individuals with practical and emotional care, enabling them to lead as ordinary a life as they can achieve. Flexibility is required as you will work shifts including bank holidays, weekends, and potential sleep-ins. If your best traits are positivity, friendliness, and innovation, then this job is for you!
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment
- Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and others whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality
- Support service users with the preparation of meals, laundry duties, cleaning, and social events
- Maintain accurate notes and records as required
- Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care
Personal Characteristics:
- Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one
- Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues
- Ability to keep calm under pressure
- Confidence to work alone or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion to work with vulnerable adults
- Desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding
