Due to the growth of our service, we are looking for Waking Watch (Night Staff Workers) to join us, working across the already established Cambian Shap Road and our NEW PROVISION, soon to open within the local area!
Working hours: 9pm to 9am – (on average 42 hours per week).
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern.
With an Outstanding CQC judgment. Cambian Shap Road is probably one of the best residential care homes of its type in the county. Located in the picturesque town of Kendal it provides exceptional care and support for young adults with Learning Disabilities and or challenges within the autistic spectrum. The home is a registered 4-bedroom house for young adults and they are closely supported to live as independent a life as possible and be a big part of the local community. We aspire for all of our people to be the best they can be as themselves whilst preparing them for future opportunities and/or lifelong fulfilment.
If you join us you will be working between Shap Road and our soon to open new service, with a group of young adults who are very happy and safe and who show high levels of respect and kindness towards each other. The life skills, support and care that we provide makes a significantly positive difference to their lives and parents have commented that the exemplary support their children receive has, ‘changed their lives and given them hope’.

They will be part of a large supportive care team who work holistically across Care, Therapeutic & Clinical services supporting each other’s practice to deliver specialist residential services to those with additional and complex needs, including Autism, severe learning disabilities and complex health needs.
