Pay: £13.71 per hour plus £30 per sleep in

What You’ll Do

  • Support young people with their daily routines; getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities.
  • Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.
  • Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
  • Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects.
  • Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.

Where You’ll Do It

Our home is a solo home with 6 staff working 2-1, the team is made up of males and females and is a diverse team. Our home has a family environment and we try to make the home not institutionalised. Our young person is a 14 year old male and has shared he is happy living at this home. The team is full of long standing staff which shows commitment for our young people. The team know each other's strengths and weaknesses and are experienced to be able to mentor and guide new staff members.

  • Experience in residential childcare and/or level 3 qualification in residential childcare.
