  • Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.
  • Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.

Where You’ll Do It

We are a dual home based in North Manchester, with easy transport links to Manchester City Centre, Middleton and Oldham. We have a large home comprising a porch area on entrance leading to hallway, living room, dining room and conservatory. The home has three bedrooms, two of which are bedrooms for the young people and one for the staff who are on shift, all located on the 1st floor. There is an office and another staff sleep room on the ground floor. The home has been newly decorated and also has their own pet tortoises in the home who are cared for by the team and the young people. The home has two residents at the moment who have lived in the property for over two years and are very settled. The team work together in an empathetic and caring way in order to support the young people in our care to make the right choices and to ensure they have the tools to be integrated back into society effectively. The team use professional curiosity in the home and are very understanding of the young people we currently have in placement and their risks and needs. Safeguarding is the forefront of everything we do and as a team we ensure we provide a safe nurturing and caring place for the young people to live and thrive.
