We are looking for Children’s Residential Care Workers to be part of our services within the Somerset Area in South West region. The working day can be unpredictable, and you could find yourself spending the entire morning organizing activities and the afternoon providing 1:1 support.

- Rate of Pay: £12.35-£13.71 per hour, dependent, with a £30.00 additional sleep-in rate

As a Children’s Residential Care Worker, you will be involved in all aspects of the children’s daily lives, making a positive impact. You will need to be emotionally strong, approachable, detail-focused, and committed to ensuring safety and adherence to protocols and regulations.
Shift Pattern: 16-24 Hour shifts (including Sleep-in) on a one-on-two or two-on-four basis.
A typical day might include:
- Delivering high-quality care
- Providing guidance, support, and structure
- Supporting engagement with education
- Promoting healthy lifestyles
- Participating in clinically-led training
- Household duties, record-keeping, and report writing
- Organizing social activities and outings
- Attending meetings and therapy sessions
- Providing transport for activities
Requirements:
- Desirable but not essential: Full UK Driving Licence, NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare, experience in therapeutic environments, leadership skills, and higher qualifications.
