Compensation: $63,200 to $85,000. This range reflects Carestream's good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position.

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail oriented and strategic Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in consolidating and analyzing financial data that supports critical business decisions. You will ensure the integrity of cost records, perform variance analysis, and partner closely with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to enhance cost efficiency. This position also collaborates with cross functional stakeholders to maintain alignment on budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial planning processes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate, analyze, and generate monthly cost results
  • Product costing including standard costs and variances
  • Build monthly journal entries in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Work with operations & leadership to prepare bi-annual forecasts and annual operating plans for equipment manufacturing
  • Prepare monthly manufacturing financial reports to communicate and explain production variances and the impact on the unit manufacturing cost
  • Manage and prioritize site capital project expenditures
  • Work with Finance manager to provide process improvements and business strategy support

Required Skills & Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • 3+ years of full-time finance or accounting work experience
  • Highly analytical and quantitative skill set; Able to analyze complex data
  • Strong technical skills particularly in Microsoft Excel
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Desire to drive opportunities for productivity
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams through financial analysis of high impact projects

Desired Skills:

  • SAP experience including Cost Center planning, standard costing and production variance analysis
  • Broad knowledge of US GAAP including product costing, inventory valuation and fixed assets
  • Power BI knowledge
  • Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Cost Accounting experience

Work Environment: This position is primarily an office setting with standard temperature and humidity controls, moderate to light noise, fluorescent lighting, primarily sitting with standing desks available, extensive computer and keyboard use.
