We are seeking a motivated and credible nurse leader to join a senior leadership team as Matron for a specialist Neurology Hospital. This key leadership role is responsible for driving excellence in nursing standards, patient experience, workforce development, and service improvement across two specialist pathways: Complex Rehabilitation and Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness (PDOC).
The Matron will work within a collaborative and values-driven leadership team, committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong, visible nursing leadership across services.
- Uphold and improve clinical quality, safety, and patient experience.
- Lead and develop nursing teams, supporting learning and professional growth.
- Support and implement service improvement initiatives.

About You:
We are looking for a forward-thinking nurse leader who is ready to take the next step in their career. While previous experience as a Matron is not essential, clinical credibility, sound judgment, and the ability to lead across professional groups are required.
Essential:
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
- Proven leadership experience within a healthcare setting
