Plant IT CIM Engineer to join one of the UK's largest automotive manufacturing facilities in Dagenham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting critical manufacturing applications and production systems within a plant, factory or industrial environment, working at the heart of manufacturing operations where system availability is essential to production.
Contract Information:
- While the assignment is currently expected to run for approximately 12 months, there is potential for the contract to extend beyond this subject to business requirements and renewal approvals.
- The initial purchase order is currently approved through 31st December 2026 and will follow the standard company contract renewal process thereafter.
Working Hours:
- Core hours: 7:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend support may be required, typically covering late afternoon / early evening shifts (approximately 3pm - 7pm).
- Weekend working is infrequent; historically this has been around 3 Saturdays and 1 Sunday over a 12-month period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the SME for Plant Floor System (PFS) applications.
- Support critical production applications where system availability is essential to manufacturing operations.
- Lead incident investigation, escalation and resolution activities.
- Configure, deploy and support production environment applications.
- Perform system administration, upgrades and patching activities.
- Support infrastructure and application projects.
- Ensure compliance with IT security, audit and governance requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
